Forza Horizon 6 Series 2: Horizon Decades Overview
I’m so excited, Forza Horizon 6 Series 2, titled Horizon Decades, begins on Thursday, June 18 at 2:30 PM UTC and celebrates iconic cars from past eras across a new four-week Festival Playlist! This update adds 10 Festival Playlist reward cars, a new Evolving World Car Meet at the Hokubu Time Attack Circuit, the return of The Trial, three new badges, and four more Car Pass cars for eligible players. It also introduces the new Series History Reward system, which tracks lifetime Festival Playlist points across multiple series.
One of the headline additions in Series 2 is the new Hokubu Time Attack Circuit Car Meet. This temporary Evolving World feature gives players a new place to gather, show off customized cars and liveries, meet other drivers, and start convoys in the shared world. It gives Series 2 a stronger community feel and adds another reason to cruise through Japan beyond the standard playlist events.
The Festival Playlist itself is built around the Horizon Decades theme and includes 10 reward cars spread across the series and its four seasons. Series-wide rewards are the 1993 Porsche 911 Turbo S Leichtbau at 80 points and the 2018 Lotus Exige Cup 430 at 160 points. Seasonal rewards include the 1989 Volkswagen Rallye Golf and 1988 Lamborghini Countach LP5000 QV in Summer, the 1998 TVR Cerbera Speed 12 and 1993 Schuppan 962CR in Autumn, the 2006 Dodge Ram SRT-10 and 2003 Ford F-150 SVT Lightning in Winter, and the 2017 Mercedes-AMG GT R and 2017 Saleen S7 LM in Spring.

Series 2 also marks the return of The Trial to the Festival Playlist. This 6v6 best-of-three team event is only available to Horizon Legends who have earned their Gold Wristband, so newer players may need to progress further before they can access it. Alongside the event content, players can also unlock three new badges during Series 2: Festival Enjoyer, Time Traveler, and Egg-cellent!
A major long-term addition in this update is the new Series History Reward system. These rewards are earned from your lifetime Festival Playlist points, rather than a single weekly or seasonal playlist. The first Series History Reward is the 1972 Mazda Cosmo 110S Series II, unlocked at 500 lifetime points. This means playlist progress now has a bigger long-term payoff across multiple series, not just within a single month.
For Car Pass owners, Series 2 adds four more cars over the next four weeks: the 2023 Audi R8 Coupé V10 GT RWD on June 18, the 1974 Mazda #123 Mad Mike 808 Wagon ‘FURSTY’ on June 25, the 1998 Nissan Skyline GT-R 40th Anniversary on July 2, and the 2023 Toyota GR Corolla on July 9.
Looking ahead, Playground Games has confirmed that Series 3 will be themed around Italian Exotics, bringing more cars, events, a new badge, and a new collectible. That makes Horizon Decades both a strong standalone update and a bridge into the next wave of FH6 content.
For players jumping into Series 2, the biggest takeaways are simple: there are strong reward cars across every week, a new social hub to visit at Hokubu, more reasons to keep building lifetime playlist points, and another good reason to stay active in FH6 through the full four-week series.
Keep checking back here for the solutions to all the challenges in the Festival Playlist so you can unlock all the Key Rewards in Horizon Decades.
