At the point of writing this there are 896 cars in Forza Horizon 5 (FH5). There are some great lists online (links below) if you want to learn more about them such as the manufacturer, country of origin, year of manufacture, when it was added to FH5, type and class of the car in FH5.
All cars in FH5 are assigned a Car Type and Car Class.

Car Classes
The classes of the car are used to create a more equal playing field when racing. The are also assigned for certain challenges for accolades, festival playlist challenges etc. Each car has a rating too, the rating determines the class. As you upgrade cars and tune them you can move cars between classes. These are the Car classes:

- S1
- S2
- X
